Sam Ocean Eccles (SOE) is a graphic designer living and working in London. Upon graduating from Kingston School of Art he has looked to work with clients in cultural sector, focusing on printed matter and websites. He is trained as a front-end developer and within all his projects attempts to use a concise typographic approach to celebrate the collaborators work rather than compete with it.

Twice a year he is part of a team which designs the fashion magazine The Gentlewoman, having now worked on the latest 6 issues from 24–29. In addition to that he regularly works with Joe Hales studio, predominantly supporting him on books.

Separate to his practice as a graphic designer, Sam co-runs Engage Here, a community interest company delivering art workshops to people experiencing barriers to participation in the arts. You can read more about this here.

In an attempt to have a some sort of art collection, Sam has a substantial collection of stamps displaying paintings and sculptures, which he is hoping to display at some point in the near future. Many of them can be seen here.
